Psychology SSCI Journal 2019 with Impact Factor

The latest impact factor of 2019 (JCR 2018, PSYCHOLOGY, SSCI) has been released! We first summarized the impact factors of all psychology SSCI journals for the past three years for the majority of psychologists to view and compare.

A total of 611 psychology journals were included, of which the top five journals were Psychological Science in the Public interest (IF = 22.25), Annual Review of Psychology (IF = 19.76), Behavioral and Brain Sciences (IF = 17.19), Psychological Bulletin (IF = 16.17), Trends in Cognitive Sciences (IF = 16.17), but these journals are mostly review journals.

Among all the journals of empirical psychology, Nature Human Behaviour ranked first (IF = 10.58) and was the first journal with more than 10 impact factors. Journal of Management ranked second (IF = 9.06), which is a Journal of management psychology. Personnel Psychology broke through 6 this year, ranking third (IF = 6.93), and also belongs to the Journal of management psychology. Psychological Science has declined this year, with the impact factor falling below 5 (IF = 4.90). The Journal of Personality and Social Psychology in the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology has improved this year, almost 6 (IF = 5.92).

In general, factors such as personality and social psychology, clinical and health psychology, and management psychology are still on the rise. For example, the Journal of Occupational Health Psychology rose from 3.77 last year to 5.18 this year; Social Psychological and Personality Science rose from 2.63 last year to 3.61 this year; Applied Psychology rose from 2.49 last year to 3.27 this year.

For the journal of Experimental Psychology, the influence factors of traditional old-fashioned magazines have not changed much or even decreased this year. The Journal of Experimental Psychology-General has dropped from 4.11 last year to 3.50 this year. Journal of Experimental Psychology-Human Perception and Performance Last year’s 2.29 rose to 2.94, and the Journal of Experimental Psychology-Learning Memory and Cognition rose from 2.32 last year to 2.67 this year.
